Indus Motor Company Posts Big Profits, Delivers Strong Dividend Payouts
Indus Motor Company Limited just released its annual financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026. Numbers look solid. Revenue surged 20% to cross Rs. 258 billion, powered by a 33% jump in total vehicle sales. That unit growth helped lift net profits after tax to Rs. 25.51 billion. That’s an 11% increase year-over-year.
Earnings per share came in at Rs. 324.50. Investors have plenty to celebrate. The board recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. 47 per share (470%). When you add the interim payouts of Rs. 148 per share already distributed during the year, total cash dividends hit a massive Rs. 195 per share (1,950%).
Cost controls paid off. Distribution expenses dropped over 53%, helping gross profit hit Rs. 36.30 billion despite higher raw material costs. Other income also provided a healthy cushion at Rs. 15.87 billion, thanks to strong cash reserves and investment returns. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, as tax expenses climbed nearly 20% to Rs. 17.31 billion. Still, the bottom line expanded nicely, confirming solid operational strength in a tough automotive market.
